Sorry for being MIA..

I have been MIA for the past thirteen days or more! I have not been able to post my Cara box post. But I promise I will as soon as I get back home from vacation with the in laws.
I have gender reveal pictures I took for my friend to show and a whole week of pictures from spending time camping in Montauk, NY. But for now, I will show you all a recap of my past week! I hope everyone had an awesome fourth of July! And thanks to all the men and women who are deployed, like my husband. ONLY a few more lonely nights!!
Have a good Sunday everyone!

The In Laws Visit

Last week my mother in law, father in law and brother in law came down from New York to watch Conner's boat pull in the second time. They got here Thursday and left Monday morning. We had a fun time with them here! Friday we went to a Hibachi place in Virginia Beach, which ended up being a Chinese buffet too! (Even though I can't eat Chinese food.) Then we showed them the Mac Arthur Center (mall) in Norfolk. Walked around for a while and then went home. Conner had duty on Friday so he gave all of us an hour tour of the boat. His parent's loved it.

My husband says I look Amish
Hansdsome Husband telling us about the boat.

The Bridge of the boat where they steer and drive!
After touring the boat, we had to leave my husband and I took them to the Coast Guard Exchange near my house. Looked around and showed them how big it was. Went home and beat his dad and brother in crazy eight's! Woke up to the hubby coming home, and left for Williamsburg.

We started in colonial Williamsburg, walking the streets and seeing the cobble stone road, old houses, and horse and carriage buggy's. They also had a "band" marching down the road. It was very cool to see all the old buildings and the people dressed up in old clothing. Later we went to downtown, had pizza and walked the shops! We went home with three candy caramel apples.

It was nice having family down for a visit and here for the holiday!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

New York City Proposal!

So, I know I haven't been on much. But with the holidays and
my husband being away and then coming back, life has been so busy!
Recently, we went back home for the holidays. Back home as in the cold Upper states!
Pennsylvania and New York.

We went to New York City for the day/night on December 22nd, 2012.
We went and saw the 911 Memorial, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock.

While we were there; my brother in law, whose in the Air Force, proposed to his girlfriend on top of the Rockefeller Building. It was so sweet, it was quiet and it was just them two. He was going to do it in front of the Christmas Tree but to get a picture was insane!

It was a great night, and if you have never been to the city, I highly suggest getting there. If you're not use to the cold though I would suggest maybe going in the summer. Because it was so windy and cold that we went in and out of stores just to find warmth!

It will a night we will never forget, young love and young marriage! Yeah military! :)

Chad & Kristin's Wedding!

So about two months ago, I went to my cousins wedding (which actually happened on my 3rd month wedding anniversary) and it was so weird going to a wedding without my husband. My mother's side never actually met him yet, so they all call him my "mystery husband". But the wedding was beautiful. It was taken place in a small church and reception was in a glass house that was so cute and them! The centerpieces were apples and the name holders were trees! OH, and also the favor were basil, oregano..etc! I went with my mother & father, had a blast watching my mom dance holding a chair.. lol. The dress I wore, I bought was from Forever21. I'm trying this new look to look like a married women, so that people don't think I am 12 years old.
